I live on the banks of a river that was mis-named by the original European settlers of the area, most likely one that was a map-maker. The name Olentangy was a name given to the waterway that we now refer to as the Big Darby Creek by the Delaware Indians. This blog attempts to capture the essence of the life of a person living in present times and connect it with that of the Indians that originally named the river. Admittedly, this is a stretch, but writing about my life as a river rat will at the very least, be a step towards a mindful existence.
